COUNTER-REFORMATION, COUNTERFEIT REVIVAL, AND THE FALSE ARK OF THE COVENANT

LARRY GRECU

MAY 19, 2014

WORD ABOUT COUNTER-REFORMATION, THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT
 (TRUE AND FALSE), FOUNDATIONS

AND

DREAM ABOUT THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

I. COUNTER-REFORMATION
Last week, as I was awaking, the Lord spoke to me and told me the following words: "Just as you had the word about the revival that came to Pensacola in the 1990s and it came to pass, I tell you now that there is coming another revival that will be a counterfeit revival. It is going to be a Counter-Reformation." When I had this experience, I knew that it was surely going to come to pass just as it came to pass in the days of the Reformation under Martin Luther. The Lord spoke to me that this coming Counter-Reformation will have lying signs and wonders that, if it were possible, would deceive the very elect. This Counter-Reformation is going to be led by the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church. One of the leading religious orders used during the Counter-Reformation was the Jesuits, also known as the Society of Jesus, the order that Pope Francis I is a member of. I would encourage all who read this paper to research the Counter-Reformation, the Jesuits, and the life of their founder, "Saint" Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556). You will be shocked to learn the person to whom the Jesuits pledge their allegiance, even to the point that they are willing to sacrifice their own judgment.
II. THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT
Recently, there have been many words coming forth about wind or winds of change. Why should the Holy Spirit warn us about the wind or winds of change? In the 1960s, in the Roman Catholic Church, Pope John XXIII supposedly opened the Catholic Church to the wind of the Holy Spirit, an opening which had as its goal not only a move of the Holy Spirit, but also the goal of unifying all the churches of Christianity under the banner of the Roman Catholic Church in what has come to be known as the ecumenical movement.

The Lord spoke to me to be watchful and pray because the enemy is going to release his counterfeit wind to produce a move of the "spirit" that will deceive many in these last days. This counterfeit wind was released in the 1960s under Pope John XXIII, and it will be released again under Pope Francis I. How ironical is it that the current pope canonized or made "saints" of two of his recent predecessors, John XXIII and John Paul II. Remember, that to be canonized a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, two miracles are required, miracles received when someone has prayed to the person for a miracle. Why do I think the current pope canonized these two men? To validate their doctrines or teachings. Remember, the Roman Catholic Church has not stopped its Counter-Reformation.

III. THE FOUNDATIONS
The recent winds in Pensacola, Florida, and surrounding cities, put many church foundations under water OR caused the foundations to give way. What is the Lord saying? During the Counter-Reformation, the Roman Catholic Church, through the Jesuits and other religious orders, was able to bring back many Germans into the fold or clutches of the Church. Why? Because many of the Christians were not grounded in the foundational doctrine of "the just shall live by faith." We are warned in the epistle to the Hebrews that we are called to be teachers ourselves of the doctrines of the apostles. But, how can we teach others what we ourselves do not know or understand? Therefore, I would encourage those who are called into the ministry to use the short time we are being given to re-check the foundation of your congregation! Do not be afraid to ask your congregation the hard questions. It is a matter of life and death.

Jesus warned that there would be a storm and winds that would try two houses, and that storm is coming. Why is it coming? To see if your house is built on the Rock or if it is built on the shifting sands. The Roman Catholic Church's house is built on the shifting sands, and it will fall in the time of judgment. That is why the Word of God says, "Come out of her, My people, that you be not partaker of her plagues." In other words, "Get in the right house!"

IV. THE ARK OF THE COVENANT
A few days ago, I had a dream in which I saw four young boys in their early teens. Each of the boys was dressed in white garments that had a hood attached to them. They appeared like altar boys that you would see at a religious service in a Roman Catholic or Episcopal church. Each boy was carrying a pole that had a golden ball at the top of the pole. The ball was not solid but was made up of wide golden strands that were shaped like a globe. As the boys walked, they would twist the pole causing the ball or globe at the top to make a sound that was meant to inspire both awe and fear.

I then heard that these boys were going to get the Ark of the Covenant, and I saw them disappear around a corner. A few minutes later, these boys emerged carrying what I expected to be the Ark of the Covenant. They were also twisting the sticks to make the sound to put awe and fear in people's hearts. Much to my surprise, when I looked up, what I saw instead was a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary being carried. She was the Ark of he Covenant.

I do not think this dream needs much in the way of interpretation, although there are many significant things that can be gotten from this dream that I will not go into at this time. Those who are familiar with Roman Catholic doctrine should know that the Blessed Virgin Mary is being exalted above the Lord Jesus Christ as the "Mediatrix of All Graces." Again, I would encourage anyone reading this paper to do some research on the role that the Roman Catholic Church believes Mary has played in our salvation. She is actually prayed to in one of the Catholic litanies as Mary, Ark of the Covenant!

In conclusion, I would strongly remind everyone that great deception is coming, deception that will include lying signs and wonders. There is coming a counter-reformation and a counter-revival that will pull people back under the influence and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. This "church" is the synagogue of Satan, and it is headed up by antichrists, if not Antichrist himself. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death. It is time that we all examine ourselves to see if we are in the true faith.

"SOMETHING WORSE THAN AN EMP BOMB IS COMING"

Larry Grecu

Baker, Florida

April 30, 2015
Last year, while I was staying with my mother who was recuperating from cancer surgery, I read a book entitled One Second After, by William R. Forstchen. The book tells the fictional story of the loss of a war by the United States. The cause of the loss: an electromagnetic pulse bomb, which pretty much puts the US back into the Dark Ages. The unimaginable and unthinkable results of this attack are graphically portrayed in the novel, and just the thought of some of the results is sickening. For those of you who have read Alas, Babylon, you have some idea of what I am talking about. But, Forstchen's book goes beyond Alas, Bablylon. As one reviewer of the book stated, "A blood-chilling wake-up call that chaos and death are but a power plug away . . ."

I stayed up most of the night reading the book. It was a real page turner for me, somewhat like The Firm was years ago. However, what happened next took me by complete surprise. As I fell asleep, I had a dream in which the Lord spoke to me and said, "There is something worse than an EMP coming to the United States." In the dream I thought to myself, "What could be worse than an EMP? I have just read Forstchen's book, and you are trying to tell me that there is something worse than an EMP coming?" It was then that the Lord spoke to me and told me that the "something worse" coming is CANON LAW. For those of you who do not know what canon law is, I would encourage you to do some research. If what the Lord spoke to me comes to pass - and for the sake of our country I hope it doesn't - the goal of the Roman Catholic Church will have been achieved. The United States of America will have become a Roman Catholic country under the complete, totalitarian rule of the pope and canon law!

For those of you who have never been governed by canon law, you are in for a big surprise. You can actually live in a free country like the United States and still live in pure hell, all because of what the Roman Catholic Church calls truth. Its grasp reaches to the highest heaven and even to the depths of hell. It will take you to purgatory and will give you a leader who thinks he is God Himself. It is either the pope's way or no way, and unfortunately, many of our current national leaders are under the sway of this demonic deception.

I want to remind the reader that I was given this dream a year ago. That was before the pope's planned trip to the United States to see our President; before his plan to make a speech before a joint session of Congress; and before his plan to speak before the United Nations. It all sounds so positively beautiful. But, if I have been warned of the Lord that something worse than an EMP is coming - as in canon law - then, we better take heed to the warning! Our President, by the way, after his visit with Pope Francis, said that the pope is "the real deal." Not much discernment there!

Before the new pope was elected, I had a dream about the upcoming conclave election results. In the dream, the Lord gave me a number. When I awoke from the dream, I walked into the kitchen and looked at the clock, which had another three-digit number. The Lord then spoke to me the following: "Take the first number from the dream and look up the Hebrew word by the number in the Strong's Concordance. Then, take the second number and look up the Greek word by this number." When I did, the words were "black ram." I told some friends of mine later that day that the new pope - who later became Francis I - would either be a black national or a JESUIT! For those of you who are so enamored with the new pope, I would strongly advise you to read the warnings of Francis of Assisi regarding what he had to say about the last pope. For those of you who are not enamored, I am going to simply warn you that if the Roman Catholic Church gains complete control of the United States, there will be persecution and martyrdom of Protestant Christians throughout the United States! Do not be fooled by those who seem to be on the side of what is right - as in pro-life, anti-homosexual, traditional marriage, anti-euthanasia, etc. The goal of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Jesuits in particular, is to take complete control of the United States.

Several years ago, back in the 1990s, I had a dream in which I saw a UFO which suddenly appeared in the sky. It then hid behind a cloud. Next, I saw a white, plastic-like jet appear in the sky over the United States. I knew it was an enemy, and when our jets took off to go after the bigger jet, I thought, "They are going to take the white jet down." However, much to my surprise, instead of our military taking the jet out, they escorted the jet into the United States! As the jet got closer to me in the dream, I saw the seal of the Vatican on the tail of the jet, and I knew that we were being taken over by the Roman Catholic Church. The Lord spoke to me then that great persecution was coming to the United States through the Roman Catholic Church.

Some of you who are reading this are Roman Catholic. My goal is not to offend you. It is to get you to do some homework, to get you to read some of the warnings from your own prophets and priests. Our nation is in for some serious times, and the past history of the persecutions will be nothing when compared to what is coming. The truth about this pope may be hard to bear, but my hope is that you will seriously study what the Bible warns about the last days deception that is coming and that in many ways is already here. My only prayer is, "May God have mercy on us all!"

TREASURING UP WRATH

TREASURING UP WRATH

This is a warning that I gave almost one year ago about the judgment I saw coming to the United States because of decisions that were being made by the Supreme Court regarding the legalization of homosexual marriage.  If the judgments that have taken place in the last year in our country weather-wise (and they are judgments) are any indication of what is coming on a nationwide level, all at once, we are in deep trouble.  Our nation, through its so-called "wise counselors" in the United States Supreme Court,  is headed to destruction, an inevitable destruction.  As we approach the upcoming decision on gay marriage by the Supreme Court, let us pray that these men and women will turn from their wicked ways and turn our nation back to God.

THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES DECISION, OR LACK THEREOF, ON GAY MARRIAGE HAS TREASURED UP WRATH FOR OUR COUNTRY, AND THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS COMING TO THE UNITED STATES AS A WHOLE!

GOD'S WARNING TO ME THIS MORNING AS I WAS AWAKING

LARRY GRECU

OCTOBER 7, 2014

This morning as I was waking up, I heard the words "treasuring up," and I immediately knew that it was referring to something that is being stored up by the United States that is not good. In Romans 2 and the first part of Romans 3, the apostle Paul lays out the seven principles by which God will judge people (individuals) at the end of the millennium. One of these principles is that of "accumulated guilt," and that principle is based on the truth that the individual will have despised - or deemed as nothing of value - the RICHES of God's goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God is meant and was meant to lead each individual to repentance.

When the individual does not treasure, value, or esteem the RICHES of God - His goodness, His forbearance, His longsuffering - the heart of the individual becomes hard and impenitent (refusing to repent and turn to God) and TREASURES UP for itself WRATH in the day of wrath and revelation from Heaven of the righteous judgment of God. This hardness of heart means that the person's conscience cannot be pricked, no matter how forcefully or sharply God applies the pressure. There is no compunction, no feeling. The same applies to the United States.

The Lord has been applying the goads or pricks to our national conscience, but we have refused His warnings. He has used His goodness and forbearance, and He has been longsuffering. But, we have turned our backs to Him, and now the day of wrath is upon us, and we are racing to judgment. How can I say this? Because these same principles of judgment that are applied to individuals can and will be applied to nations, including the United States of America. God is no respecter of persons (another principle of God's judgment), and the United States is not going to escape God's wrath just because people think it will, based upon our past performance. HERE IS THE WARNING OF WHAT IS COMING AND WHY.

As most of you are aware, yesterday the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) declined to hear appeals from five states - Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin - seeking to uphold same-sex marriage bans, thus paving the way for legislation in six other states and setting a course for legislation in a majority of states in the union. As a result of this decision, the judges on the Supreme Court of the United States unknowingly or knowingly added to the Treasury of the United States a sum that will affect every citizen of our country in the not-to-distant future.

This Treasury of the United States is not the treasury you might be thinking of. This treasury is not the substantial income that vendors might be thinking they are going to derive by performing homosexual weddings or providing for receptions and honeymoons. The treasures that have now been added to the coffers of the United States by SCOTUS are "the treasures of wrath" reserved for the day of wrath that will shortly be poured out upon the United States.

God has continuously been warning our country with smaller judgments in diverse locations, but the day is coming and now is that there is a judgment coming that will affect THE ENTIRE NATION at once. We have gone along in our dream world thinking that God does not see, God does not care, or maybe even thinking that God is dead. I have news for you: He is alive and well, as we will all find that out soon, whether we want to believe it or not.

The Word of God warns, "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil" (Ecclesiastes 8:11). There is a place that either the individual or the nation can reach where they come to believe that God is not watching. The judgment has not fallen, the sentence has not been executed, and God has apparently remained silent. But this is all part of the forbearance and longsuffering of Almighty God - what I have described above as the "riches" of God.

We have scorned these riches of God's goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering and have instead chosen to treasure up for ourselves the wrath of God that will be poured out in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God. God will be known in one of two ways: either He will be known in His goodness or He will be known in His severity. Apparently, there are those who have decided that as a nation we want to know Him in His severity. "The Lord is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalms 9:16-17).

Although the nation will be judged as a whole, I do want you to remember that God's ultimate judgment will be on the individual at the Great White Throne judgment. There will be NO second chances! Now is the acceptable time of salvation. If you do not know that Jesus Christ died for you while you were yet a sinner, while you were yet ungodly, while you were yet an enemy of God, and while you were yet without strength (to save yourself), then NOW is the time to ask Him to forgive you of your sins. He has paid the price you cannot and could not pay. Now is the time to look to the Cross where Jesus Christ became the Sin-Bearer for your sins, died in your place for your sins and was raised again for your justification (acquittal).

God is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to the saving-knowledge of Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King and Judge. You do not have to fear the coming judgment on the United States or the Great White Throne Judgment IF you have made the life-changing decision to believe God for your righteousness. Those who have made this decision have only to look forward to glory, honor, and incorruptibility, life eternal. Beloved, do not delay to make this decision.

TREASURING UP WRATH

There is an urgency in my heart that the time is short, and we cannot afford to waste another second of our time. NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME OF SALVATION! NOW IS THE TIME TO REPENT AND TURN TO GOD, the God who declares righteous the ungodly who believe on Him. He has done for you what you cannot do for yourself. While you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you. You cannot work your own justification (acquittal). It has already been obtained for you. No matter how bad you have been, Christ died for you. Turn to Him. Place your faith and hope in Him, and He will do exceedingly , abundantly above all that you could ask or think!

Florida Senator Don Gaetz and His Son, Florida Representative Matt Gaetz:
Two Mice in the Cookie Jar!

Larry Grecu
Baker, Florida
April 28, 2015

Years ago I had the privilege of having a very brief talk with Corrie ten Boom, the Christian from Holland who, along with her family, suffered persecution during the Nazi regime of World War II. Her biography, The Hiding Place, portrayed her family's willingness to risk their lives to save the lives of as many of the Jews as they could from the Nazi death camps. The book became a worldwide bestseller and was eventually made into a movie. There was one scene in the book that has always stayed in my mind.

A local pastor comes to the ten Boom home for a visit. During his visit, Corrie and Betsie ten Boom try to convince the pastor to take one of the babies they are trying to save, especially since the pastor lives in the countryside. The pastor refuses and quickly leaves the house, but not without warning the family - Papa ten Boom, Corrie, and Betsie - that they are going to get themselves into serious trouble when the Nazis find out what they are doing. The pastor did not want to risk his life to save Jews. After the pastor left, Corrie ten Boom is very upset with the pastor and basically comments to her father, "How could this man consider himself to be a Christian, much less a pastor?" Her father's response was priceless: "Just because the mouse is in the cookie jar does not make it a cookie."

Well, apparently there are two mice in the Tallahassee cookie jar, one in the Senate and one in the House of Representatives. Recently, the two mice, Senator Don Gaetz (a Lutheran) and his son, Representative Matt Gaetz (a Baptist), voted in support of Senate and House bills respectively, that allow homosexual couples to adopt in the state of Florida. In an April 21 newspaper headline, Florida State Sen. Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, also said he does not support a proposal allowing private agencies to deny adoptions by gay and lesbian couples ON RELIGIOUS OR MORAL GROUNDS.

It seems that the Gaetz father-son legislators do not know their Bible, and as a result are playing both sides of the fence, under the guise of non-discrimination and the changing times. Apparently, their ministers are afraid to confront them with the truth! They are probably too busy protecting their 401ks and their livelihoods. Well, here's what your pastors are not telling you.

The days of Elijah are upon us, and the days of God's judgments are upon our nation. As the saying goes, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that something is going wrong in our country. If you think you can support and pass this kind of legislation WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES in your own lives and the lives of the millions of Floridians you are serving, you do not know your Bible. Worse yet, If you think you are born-again Christians, Sirs, you need to check your status.

You cannot serve two masters, which is apparently what you are doing. You cannot vote in favor of people whose lifestyle God considers an abomination and then walk into your churches - Lutheran or Baptist - and say you are worshipping the God of the Bible. However, it is apparent that both of you have decided that you CAN do this AND that YOU KNOW BETTER THAN GOD.

There probably have been many Christians who have mistaken you for fellow-Christians in the past. They may have even worshipped right next to you on a Sunday morning. But, now I hope they see the truth: the Gaetz men have been posing as Christians. Why, I noticed that one of the articles even said Don Gaetz "shepherded" the bill through the senate. Now, that's scary! Sounds like a wolf in sheep's clothing to me. Like the minister in The Hiding Place, Gaetz men, you are just two mice in the cookie jar. And, NEWS FLASH! Just because you are in the cookie jar, Sirs, it does not make you a cookie!

My hope is that you repent and hear the gospel BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

DO YOU KNOW THE GOSPEL?

A SAD TESTIMONY THAT IS SO SIMILAR TO THE CONDITION OF CHURCHES TODAY IN THE UNITED STATES!

Larry Grecu
Baker, Florida
April 22, 2013

One of my favorite commentaries on the book of Romans is by William R. Newell, who was a Bible teacher under Dwight L. Moody. He was asked by Mr. Moody to begin conducting teachings on Romans, which both men believed to be the cornerstone of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But, here is one of the interesting and sad things discovered by Mr. Newell when he ministered the truths of Roma...ns to people ALREADY on the mission field:

"The author must be permitted to say that he had part in the Student Volunteer Movement for foreign missions of fifty years ago; that he saw hundreds of earnest and honest students "volunteer" for the mission field. But afterwards, in teaching the book of Romans, especially in China, he had many a missionary say, "We never knew this gospel before." It is nothing short of tragic to send men and women out against the hosts of hell in heathendom without teaching them through and through and through this mighty gospel Paul preached: - which gospel he says is "the power of God unto salvation." And he comes to further detail in saying, "The word of the cross is the power of God." Education, medication, sanitation, and general sweetness - what does Satan care for that? The word of the cross is the great wire along which runs the dynamic of God - and it runs along no other wire." (from Romans, Verse by Verse, by William R. Newell, p. 275, footnote)

Brothers and Sisters, will this be your sad testimony on the day of judgment? Are you even being taught the Gospel in your church? Do you even know the goal of the Gospel, GOD'S Good News, for those who need salvation and those who already have it? Do you even know why you need the Good News, even after your salvation? All the answers to these questions are things you should know about the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. May this message stir your heart to seek again to gain a full understanding of the glorious gospel of God! Paul the apostle did not fail to equip the church of his day with the whole counsel of God. How much more do we need this equipping today! Hopefully, you are being equipped in your church. If not, may God have mercy on you NOW, and especially if you are being sent out to your part of the mission field without the gospel!
My Response to J. Lee Grady's Article in Charisma Magazine (4/15/2015), "Don't Get Caught Up in Last Days Hysteria"

Larry Grecu
Baker, Florida
April 22, 2015

On April 15, 2015, an article appeared in Charisma magazine entitled, "Don't Get Caught Up in Last Days Hysteria." It was written by one of the magazine's long-time writers, J. Lee Grady, author, award winning journalist, and ordained minister. One of the things that caught my attention as I read the article was the use of the letter "D" in the four reasons he gives for not getting caught up in all the hype or why you should avoid an "unhealthy overemphasis on the end times." As some of you may be aware, in March, the Lord gave me a dream which involved the letter "D." In the dream He revealed to me many coming events and/or words which would be important to the Church, both in the United States and in the world "in these Last Days." So, the use of the letter "D" by Mr. Grady definitely caught my attention. However, when I read Mr. Grady's article, I was sickened by his total twisting of the Scriptures, and especially the effect his statements will have on the already slumbering saints in the Church in America.

Mr. Grady's reasons for not getting caught up in Last Days hysteria were as follows (and notice the "d" words): (1) It is distracting; (2) It is depressing; (3) It is deceptive; and (4) It is divisive. If you believe everything Mr. Grady has written in this article, then you will fall into the category of "D" is for Dumbbell, when you should be in the category of "D" is for Disciple. Why? Because a dumbbell takes everything someone says about what the Scriptures say without searching the Scriptures! Here are some of the false statements in the article - and these are the ones under just one section of this article, 'It's distracting':

(1) Nowhere does the Bible give us permission to speculate about when Jesus will return or when the world will end. Notice the careful choice of the verb "speculate". A few years ago, I was attending a church where the pastor said that we could not know the time of the tribulation. I wrote a letter and asked him how it was that we were not going to know the times, especially when the book of Revelation is filled with days of time, as in "time, times, and half a time," forty-two months, and two sets of 1,260 days. I never got a response to my letter.

I know that in the past people have been deceived about the end times and dates; however, that does not mean that there is no truth hidden in the Scriptures regarding the last days. That does not mean that you throw the baby out with the bath water, as the saying goes. Actually, if you read the books of First and Second Thessalonians, you will find that we are told that we are not to be left in the dark regarding the end times, the return of Jesus, the rapture of the Church, the Antichrist, and the Tribulation. I would prefer to believe the apostle Paul than Mr. Grady. Think about this. God seems to be the one obsessed with time. Jesus came right on time at His birth. He entered Jerusalem a few days before His death - right on time! He died on time, rose on time, and ascended on time - all times relative to the Jewish calendar. And, He is coming back on time!

(2) He gave us one major focus: to reach everybody with the Gospel. Really? I don't think so. Again, if you are in the two types of most American Christians, dumb and dumber, you would swallow this lie hook, line, and sinker. Paul the apostle said that he was taught by the resurrected and ascended Christ, so it stands to reason that Jesus did not stop talking at His ascension. Paul had not failed to declare the whole counsel of God to the Church, but apparently, J. Lee must think that the only counsel we last days Christians need is about witnessing. I wonder what J. Lee did with the Scripture in Acts of the Apostles which states that the Holy Spirit actually forbade Paul from going into a certain area to "witness"? J. Lee would probably be outside Noah's Ark telling all of them to get off the Ark and get out there and witness! He would probably be sending Lot, his wife and their daughters back into Sodom. Of course, Lot's wife probably would have been thrilled at this kind of preaching!

A few years ago, I spoke at a church where the pastor allowed me to give a test to the congregation. Most of the test had some pretty basic questions. For example, What are the six foundational doctrines of the church? Name the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. Name the nine fruit of the Holy Spirit, etc. After the meeting, one lady came up to me and summed up what I believe probably spoke for most of the congregation, even though, in fairness to this church and its pastor, she was a visitor that night. She said, "We have never been taught this in my church." To put it briefly, she has never been taught the basic foundational doctrines of Christ! What is your answer to that, J. Lee? Do you think J. Lee would allow me to come into his congregation and give the test? Probably not. They would be too busy evangelizing! So much for the whole counsel of God!

(3) Evangelism should be our obsession. If you agree with Mr. Grady, then please find out where he is preaching/teaching and go there. I think I have said enough about the "evangelism" subject.

(4) The healthiest churches I know are those that are winning the lost, discipling new converts and investing their people and money in reaching the nations. This may be partially true, but is it a good enough reason to have a lopsided church that emphasizes evangelism and reaching the nations without even having some understanding of Bible prophecy or what Jesus says about the End Times? If you do not realize that we are in the end times when we will be forced to make a choice, Christ or the mark of the beast, you are in serious trouble!

(5) Churches that become consumed with eschatology drift into weirdness, and they eventually lose sight of the Great Commission. What is the weirdness? Who are the ministries J. Lee is referring to? Who are the churches? OR, is J. Lee too much of a coward to say? Is he afraid of being challenged by some thinking Christians? Eschatology is probably one of the greatest witnessing tools Jesus has given to the Church for the Last Days! Oh, but I forgot. J. Lee wants me out there witnessing. Apparently, he thinks I should not get too caught up in Matthew 24, or too caught up in Jesus' warnings about the last days being like the days of Noah and Lot! Whether J. Lee knows this or not, Jesus Himself gave the eschatological warnings of the events surrounding the days of Noah and Lot, warnings that He said we should pay attention to. J. Lee, I think I will stick with Jesus. When the ark door shuts, I want to be on the inside, Bro!

(6) Jesus' last words to His followers were clear: "You shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:11). Those may be the last words of Jesus that J. Lee Grady has read, but for the informed disciple - not the dumbbell - those are NOT the last words of Jesus to His followers. If that was the case, then you might as well rip out all the writings of the apostle Paul from your Bible. But, J. Lee, before you take that drastic step, take a whole year off, and study nothing but the book of Romans to find out what Paul says that Jesus told him - AFTER Jesus' resurrection and ascension. And, by the way, all that Paul wrote about in Romans is the Good News, the Gospel we should be spreading!

Here is the final deceptive statement J. Lee makes in just this one section of his article:

(7) Yet when He ascended into Heaven, the angels rebuked the disciples because they were staring into the clouds. They said, "Why do you stand looking into the sky?" (Acts 1:11) In essence they were saying: "Don't sit around and wait for Jesus to return. Get busy doing what He told you to do." Again, if you are a dumbbell, you would be thinking, "You know, J. Lee is right! We should be out evangelizing instead of looking for the Lord's return. We should avoid an unhealthy overemphasis on the end times!" Unfortunately, for the uninformed (dumb and dumber) Christian, there would be an immediate "Amen!" to J. Lee's statement. But, just what did the angels say? And, on top of that, what did Jesus say before His own ascension and after He had given the command to go into all the world and preach the Gospel?

Beloved, I am not going to answer any of those questions. What I want you to do is to search the Scriptures to see if what J. Lee Brady has stated in his article is true. I personally do a lot of reading and studying in my Bible regarding the Last Days. I am not distracted; I am not depressed. I have been a Christian over 40 years. I have never been more excited about what the Lord is doing and where He is taking the Church in this hour!

While Mr. Grady says that the Last Days hysteria is deceptive, I would say, he is the one deceived. If you believe him, then you are the one who is going to have to give account for your actions on judgment day. Your choice is between what Mr. Grady is espousing and what Jesus has told us and warned us of. The end times prophecies were not given to us to completely ignore while we are out witnessing! According to apostles Peter and Paul, they are given for our instruction and warning. But, apparently, J. Lee wants to leave you in the dumb and dumber categories.

Is the discussion about the last days divisive? YES! And rightly so. Do you not think it was divisive in the days of Noah and Lot? Noah and his family were divided from the whole antediluvian world! Lot and his surviving family members were divided from everyone else in Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities who did not have a clue as to what was getting ready to happen.

Christian, for the sake of your family, friends, and enemies, read your Bible. Read what it has to say about the End Times. If you are accused of being hysterical, so what? Do you not think that Lot was a little hysterical when he went to warn his relatives about God's coming judgment? Do you not think that Noah and his sons were a little hysterical when trying to warn the people of coming judgment? What is happening in churches that do focus on the end times is not just people crying, "Wolf!" It's the real deal. God is trying to warn His Church, but if you listen to what J. Lee and his type have to say, you will be shut out of the ark or left in the cities set for destruction. The choice is yours. J. Lee or Jesus.

Dear Elijah List, If You Don't Like My Comments, Quit Sending Me Your Emails!

Larry Grecu

April 21, 2015

American Christian, if you do not think you are going to be persecuted for your faith in the United States of America, think again. Listen to what Paul the apostle warned the Thessalonikan Christians:

"For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches (plural) of God, which in Judea are in Christ Jesus: for ye have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews . . . For verily when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know" (I Thessalonians 2:14; 3:4).

Many of the so-called apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers in the Church in America are lulling their congregations to sleep with promises of peace and safety, wealth and prosperity. However, if you read Paul's warnings, he prophesies of persecution to those who live Godly in Christ Jesus. If you choose to ignore the very plain word of God, you will not be able to stand in the day of your trouble! Paul was so concerned about the Thessalonikan Christians that he sent Timothy to check on them to see if they had stood the test. "For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labor be in vain" (I Thessalonians 3:5).

All over the world, Christians are now dying for their faith. One well-known prophecy website, the Elijah List, says that (in spite of all the prophetic words that people have received over the years from their website) many of their readers are scared of what ISIS is doing to Christians in the Middle East. Of course, this prophecy website is using this as an excuse to solicit money so they can put encouraging words on their website from those who are the "real" prophets. I guess they don't want the prophets who are trying to warn people ahead of time that you are not going to be able to hide from persecution, even in the good, old US of A! Here is part of what the prophetic website email said (and by the way, this was the third email I received!):

"THE STATE OF PROPHETS AND PROPHESYING TODAY

There are some SHOCKING things happening that I want to just mention, but first THANK YOU for generously helping us get to this level. It’s what we’ve been praying for! Yes!

Now, because you answered our prayers with your giving, we’ve begun the search and interview process of hiring our 2nd Computer IT person. That has been what’s keeping us from posting fresh and encouraging prophetic videos.

WHAT’S SO SHOCKING?

Many of our readers are feeling frightened with WORLD NEWS lately. As I write this, it’s all over the news that ISIS continues to proudly put to death those who believe differently than they do. Most of those being murdered in cold blood by ISIS, are devoted CHRISTIANS. ISIS IS PURE EVIL! And yet God is even pulling some men and women out of ISIS and offering them SALVATION, just as the Lord did for the Apostle Paul. Listen, this is what the devil does! He goads people into committing evil and then his demons assigned TO YOU and ME start whispering in our ears that God has abandoned Christians, or "If God allowed those men to die, He’ll probably allow YOU to die too!" the demons whisper!

This is why our upcoming videos on our PROPHETIC.TV site of encouraging prophecies are SO CRUCIAL. Many in the Body are scared to death. ISIS is actually freaking many out! We need to encourage them. That’s what 1 Corinthians 14:1-4 is about... modern day prophesying is primarily to encourage and build up a discouraged BODY OF BELIEVERS (my emphasis)."

Do you mean to tell me that in all the years of this website's existence that they have not had enough encouraging, I Corinthian 14:1-4 - type, prophetic words for their many readers who now are "scared to death" and "actually freaking out" because of ISIS? Oh, I forgot, they need money! Do you mean to tell me that the Body of Christ or some of its members have ignored the Word of God and put more faith in personal prophecies that are not coming to pass? Apparently so. That is downright sickening! Read your Bible! Talk about real prophetic encouragement for the End Times!

Christians DO NOT NEED encouragement the likes of which this website is suggesting! They need the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH! This is the TRUTH: All that live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, yes, even persecution from your own countrymen! What this website is posting is one of the grossest misuses of the gift of prophecy I have ever heard, and yet its request for money is endorsed by three nationally and internationally known prophets of our time. What a disgrace! Is there no judgment of this kind of fleecing the flock by God's prophets? Or are all of you going to remain silent? If so, Apostle or Prophet, you will answer to God! What kind of encouraging prophetic word are you planning on giving to those being martyred in the Middle East? Are you going to tell the martyred, "You know, I really thought I heard from the Lord that you were NOT going to be beheaded, that you and your family were NOT going to suffer persecution." What kind of prophetic, encouraging word are you going to give to those who have been left behind to fend for themselves? What a joke!

Christian, if you are not getting the whole Word of God from your church, you better go somewhere where the whole counsel of God is being preached, including Paul's warnings about persecution. Don't let these so-called prophets and apostles put you to sleep. They are exactly what the Bible warns about, pillow prophets who are nothing but a bunch of money-grubbing "Christians" who better repent! The days of their nonsense-prophesying are coming to an end. The spirit of Phineas is rising in the land and will put to death the Balaams who are only wanting to rake in the gold, while telling you things you want to hear, things you might hope are true, but are not the Word of God.

Prophets and preachers told Christians in China and Rwanda that they would not have too suffer persecution, that God was going to keep them from any trouble. The result? When the persecution came, many Christians denied the faith and did not want to hear about God, Jesus, or the Bible. Is this what we are sowing here in the United States? Time will tell. Christian, you have a choice. Prepare yourself with the truth or carry around your wealth, health, and prosperity prophecy all the way to your persecution and execution. I am not saying God cannot deliver. If God delivers you, praise Him. If you are not delivered in the way you thought you would be, praise Him. The TRUTH of the matter is this, "All that live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." For starters, why don't you see what happened to Peter, James, John, Paul, and Stephen.  They just might be able to give you the "present" truth you  need to hear today and in the days ahead!

GOD, GAYS, NCIS-NEW ORLEANS, AND CHRISTIANS IN THE MILITARY: SOMETHING IS COMING, AND YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT!

GOD, GAYS, NCIS-NEW ORLEANS, AND CHRISTIANS IN THE MILITARY:  SOMETHING IS COMING, AND YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT!

Larry Grecu
April 21, 2015

Someone whom I know quite well, told me of a TV program she was watching recently.  The show was NCIS-New Orleans,  one of her favorites.  It is now one of her ex-favorites.  In an episode that aired a few days ago, a baby is kidnapped while the father is unloading groceries from his car.  Apparently the baby is left in the car seat while the groceries are being taken out of the car.  While the father is carrying the groceries into the house,  someone jumps into the car and drives off with the car and the baby still in the car seat.

The kicker for my friend was when a man comes running up to the apartment while investigators are trying to determine what happened to the baby.  They try to stop him, but it is then that he tells him that that's his wife in the apartment, and he has got to get to him/her.  If you haven't figured this out yet, the man and the other guy in the apartment are husband and wife who have adopted a little baby girl, the kidnap victim.  Well, at that point, my friend got up and turned her TV off and told the Lord that was going to be the last episode of NCIS she was going to watch.

As if to confirm to her that she was making the right decision, the Lord blessed her during her Bible reading the next morning.  She said she had never really paid much attention to this Old Testament scripture.  But, when she was doing her daily Bible reading, she opened to Leviticus 20, and in this passage, she read the following:  "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination:  they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:13).  She felt like the Lord was letting her know that she had made the right decision in turning her TV off.  My answer, "Absolutely!"

I thought there were some other interesting points to this show that TV-land is definitely trying to push.  The "husband" was black and his "wife" white.  The white "wife" is also in the military.  I mean, this show apparently tries to cover all the bases from gay marriage, civil rights and the gay agenda, gays in the military, gay adoption, etc. all in one episode.  I am surprised they didn't have the rainbow American flag hanging out in front of the apartment along with a yellow ribbon attached to it, saying, "We support our troops!"

Folks, if you don't think we are living in a time of absolute confusion, you better think again.  BUT, I do want to remind you, as I recently wrote on my blog, that God is not going to put up with US (us and the USA) much longer.  There is coming a revival in the military that is going to put a halt to the takedown going on.  God, the real commander-in-chief, is getting ready to move in a mighty way.  He will not be mocked or defied much longer.   The judgments coming on our country are going to be horrific, but they will cause people to seek God in a way that we have not seen in a long time.

In a dream I had recently, the Lord spoke to me and told me, "I will not be outdone by the devil."  He told me that there was coming a revival in the military that would shake the country, as Christian men and women stood up for righteousness and refused to go along any longer with the gay agenda presently existing in our military.  Many of these men and women are going to pay the ultimate price for their stand, but there is coming a holy boldness as in the days of the early Church when the apostles told those in authority, "Do what you gotta do, but we are still going to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and live according to what the Word of God says" (Larry's paraphrase).

If you haven't heard the news, some of our Christian military chaplains are already taking a stand, are already paying the price of the loss of their careers.  Do not think that just because you, Mr. Military Man, do not stand in the pulpit, that you will be exempt from having your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ tested.  The lines are being drawn, and God is going to give all of us the opportunity to see who is on the Lord's side.

To the homosexuals reading this post, I have this to say.  Do not continue to believe the lies being shoved down your throat!  Jesus Christ is a God of change, and when you are born again, you become a new creation.  All things are new, old things have passed away.  The judgment for your sins, and they are sins, has been paid by Jesus Christ when He died on the cross for you.  He didn't wait for you to change.  He died for you while you were yet without strength, while you were ungodly, a sinner, and an enemy of God!  You can't get much worse than that!  We have all been there!  But, now is the time to choose.  Salvation has come to your house today!  It is no accident you are reading this post!

The Lord spoke to me that many homosexuals are going to be affected in a positive way when this revival comes.  The example set by the military men and women willing to take a stand is going to cause homosexuals to ask what these true Christians have.  I believe that there are many homosexuals who have been wanting to see true Christianity, and God is getting ready to show them!  God will use their stand to provoke many homosexuals to jealousy in a good way.

Within me today, I have a real sense of urgency.  Time is short for our country.  We are heading for judgment.  May God have mercy on us all, and may God bless our Christian military men and women with an outpouring of His Holy Spirit that will bring power and boldness beyond what we could ask or think!  I pray this in Jesus' Name.   Amen!

A DREAM ABOUT GOD'S SOON-COMING ANSWER TO THE HOMOSEXUAL COMMUNITY

A DREAM ABOUT GOD'S SOON-COMING ANSWER

TO THE HOMOSEXUAL COMMUNITY

Larry Grecu

Baker, Florida

April 9, 2015

This morning I had a dream in which the Lord spoke to me and said, "I will not be outdone by the devil!" The words were very forceful, and I knew that God meant business. He continued by telling me that He was going to answer the abominations that the devil is using through homosexuality with Godly, true, pure relationships between men and women, but especially through men. The Lord reminded me that the homosexuals have used Holy Scriptures to pervert the truth of what it means for men to be in Godly relationships with each other. But, those days are over! For God says again, "I will not be outdone by the devil."

Soon, there will be coming visible manifestations of what it means for men to be in deep, Godly relationships with each other. The pictures perverted by satan in the homosexual community will be crushed by what God is getting ready to manifest. I am speaking specifically of the Biblical relationships given like those of David and Jonathan, Jesus and John the apostle, and Paul and Timothy. The manifestation of these relationships will be so powerful that many men who are trapped in homosexuality will leave the bondages they are in to find the reality of true, Godly love in Christ! They will be provoked to jealousy because God will not be outdone by the devil!

The Lord spoke to me that one of the places where this will become particularly visible will be in the military. Our leadership in our own country has been used by satan himself to weaken our military by introducing homosexuality into the various branches of service, but the Lord says, "I will not be outdone by the devil!" There is coming an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our military that is going to produce a visible manifestation of the Godly, pure, and true love-relationships between men. This will not be man-produced, but God-produced - produced by the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us by God. In other words, it is going to be an inside job! God will not be outdone by the devil!

There will be nothing anyone can do to stop this outpouring of God's Spirit, for it will be God's answer to the flood of iniquity that is sweeping our country. It will not require words, although words may be spoken. It will simply be the manifestation of God's power over satan. Who do you think is greater? I will answer. My God is greater! He will not be outdone by the devil! I have never felt this strongly about a word from the Lord than at this time. Something is coming in the way of an outpouring of God's love like nothing we have ever seen before. God has been saving the best for last, and He has weapons in His arsenal that he has kept for such a time as this! The greatest of these is Love!

THE "D" DREAM CONTINUES: "D" IS FOR DEPARTURE

"D" IS FOR DEPARTURE

Larry Grecu

Baker, Florida

April 8, 2015

For those of you who are not familiar with the "D" dream I had on March 17th, feel free to visit my new blog, http://asinthedaysofnoahandlot.blogspot.com/, where you will find the dream recorded. Today, I am going to continue with the revelation the Lord is giving me on this dream by discussing the subject of "D" is for DEPARTURE. I must admit that the first thing I thought of when I had this revelation is that this "D" for departure must refer to the rapture or catching away of the Church. But, apparently, the Lord had some other things to say related to this letter/word that I had never really given thought to.

But, first, let me explain how this part of the dream began to unfold. Last week, I received an email from a friend of mine in the south of the county I live in. The email contained a very disturbing video involving a coming calamity that will have catastrophic consequences internationally. According to the video, international governments appear to have knowledge of a coming catastrophe that they do not want the general population to know about so as to avert widespread panic. So, over the next two days as I was thinking about the video's message, I kept thinking about the "D" dream as it related to disasters, disease, dying, and death. On Monday morning (4/6), I went for a walk to pray and get alone with the Lord to see what He had to say to me. It did not take long for Him to speak. He simply told me to keep on doing what He had called me to do. Keep on warning. Keep on writing. Keep on waiting. And, as I began waiting on him on Monday morning, He began opening up to me what He wanted revealed about the word departure.

To my surprise, the Lord spoke to me that there is a theme of departure that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. I am going to list what the Lord gave to me so that in your leisure, you can read about some of these departures. I am sure you could probably add to this list, so feel free. But, above all, please consider the Scriptures that I give at the end of this blog regarding specific warnings tied to the word departure. Here is the list the Lord gave me. You will notice that not all of these departures are positive in nature.

Adam and Eve - departure from God and from the Garden of Eden; departure of Enoch; departure of the World Population from God in days of Noah; departure of Noah and his family via the Ark; departure of Nimrod and the descendants of Noah at Babel; departures in the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (good and bad); departure of Lot and his family from Sodom and Gomorrah; departure of Joseph from Canaan through betrayal by his brothers; departure of Joseph's father and brothers from Canaan; departure of Moses from Egypt to Midian; departure of Moses from Midian to Egypt; departure of Moses and Children of Israel, with Joseph's bones, from Egypt; departure from the Living God in the Wilderness; departures of Miriam, Aaron, and Moses; departure of Judges in Israel, resulting in departures from God; departures of Samuel, Elijah, and Elisha; departure of Israel from the Word of God; departure of Israel into Assyria; departure of Judah into Babylonian Captivity; departure of Ezra and Nehemiah from Babylon; departure of Mary and Joseph during census; departure of Wise Men via a star on one hand and a dream on the other; departure of Jesus into Egypt as a child; departure of Jesus from Egypt to Nazareth; departure of Jesus from earth; departure of the Holy Spirit from Heaven; departure of apostles Peter and Paul in death; departure of Jews from Israel in Diaspora; departure of the Early Church from SOUND doctrine; departure from Light and descent into Dark Ages; departure from God-given restraints in the Last Days; and departure of the Bride.

As you can see, this is a study in itself. But, today I want to hone in on some Scriptures that the Lord gave me specifically for the word departure.

First is 2 Timothy 2:19.

"Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

"Every one who names the name of Christ must depart from iniquity. Those who would have the comfort of the privilege must make conscience of the duty. If the name of Christ be called upon us, we must depart from iniquity, else he will not own us; he will say in the great day (Matt. 7:23), Depart from me, I never knew you, you workers of iniquity. Observe, (1.) Whatever errors are introduced into the church, the foundation of God standeth sure, his purpose can never be defeated. (2.) God hath some in the church who are his and whom he knows to be his. (3.) Professing Christians name the name of Christ, are called by his name, and therefore are bound to depart from iniquity; for Christ gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, Titus 2:14" (Matthew Henry's Commentary).

The second Scripture is Philippians 1:21-30.

Philippians 1:21-30 (KJV) - Paul's desire for departure from this present life
21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; 26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again. 27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. 29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; 30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Paul's time of departure from this life had not yet arrived. From this observation, the Lord spoke to me that there are many who have had a real experience of Heaven, and they know that to depart and be with Christ is far better than "living" in this world. However, they know that it is not the time of their departure. There are other aspects of their calling that have not yet been fulfilled. In this day and hour, we are either faced with persecution or coming persecution, and we live daily with the threat of terrorism. However, the Lord has left some of His disciples for such a time as this, disciples who know that "they shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith" in the midst of suffering and conflict. These men and women will be examples to us all of what true discipleship is: following the Master, the Lamb, wherever He leads and wherever He goes.

The third Scripture the Lord gave was all of I Timothy 4. However, I want to quote, in particular, verses 1 and 16.
1 Timothy 4:1,16 (KJV)

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils . . . 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

In the first verse, it is not just anyone speaking. It is the Spirit of God Himself warning us ahead of time what is coming and is now upon us in these "latter times." People - one time people of faith - are departing from the faith. We are seeing this all around us. But, we are to give heed to ourselves, examine ourselves to see that we are still in the faith. We are to give heed to the doctrine of Christ, and not just give heed to the doctrine(s), but continue in them. How few do we see about us who are heeding these warnings! The time of great delusion is fast approaching, and if you are standing on the shifting sands of man's traditions and man's doctrines, your house will collapse as the storms come. If we are going to save ourselves and others, we must build a firm foundation upon the doctrines of the apostles and prophets.

Paul had not failed to warn the early Church and the Church of the latter days! But, the day came when the Lord told him and he told others that his departure was at hand.

In scripture number four we find these words:

2 Timothy 4:1-8 (KJV)

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

In this scripture, Paul reminds Timothy that Jesus Christ shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom! How easily we forget these words, these final words of the departing man of God. Judgment is coming, but in the meantime, we must be instant in season and out; we must reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all long suffering and doctrine! We are living in the time when people do not want to hear the truth, even truth given by a man who is departing this life and warning of a departure of others from the faith.

This apostle Paul gave another serious warning of events that would occur after his departure. In the fifth Scripture, Paul tells the elders from the church at Ephesus:
Acts 20:27-31 (KJV)

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

In these Scriptures, we are given the parting message of a man on the verge of departure. Here was a man who had not failed to declare to the Church all the counsel of God! (Note: He either declared the whole counsel of God or he didn't! Either he is telling the truth or he is telling a lie!) And yet, how many so-called apostles and prophets have moved away from the foundation of this apostle and the foundation of his doctrine, which IS the doctrine of Christ? How many in our day, while reading the early Church "fathers," have been drawn away from the faith once delivered to the saints? How many have been drawn away by reading the very traditions and doctrines of men "speaking perverse things" that Paul warned about.

My exhortation to you: get back to the Bible! I am not a cessationist. I believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their operation in the Church. But, I also believe that if your church is not grounding you in the foundational doctrines of Christ, the foundational doctrines of the whole counsel of God that Paul the apostle laid out, then you better get busy yourself and examine what you are being taught! God is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. It is not a one or the other. It is both/and!

I repeat again.  Strong delusion is coming, and it is coming from God Himself! Why? Because men do not love the truth. There is much talk in the Body of Christ about leaving your first love, and we can get all emotional and touchy-feely. But, I would ask you: what about your love for the Word of God? Have you forgotten what is was like when you were first saved? Your insatiable hunger for the Word of God? Your voracious appetite for the Word of God? The distances you would go to hear the Word of God? If you have forgotten, REPENT! RETURN! Return to your first love!

Next, Brothers and Sisters, the Lord spoke to me that just as there are saints who are staying on this earth to do the will of God, there are others that the Lord is taking home to be with Him. We will see more departures of saints in these Last Days, saints who have been faithful to warn. They will know and they will warn of their coming departure. In the Early Church, another apostle, Peter, knew of his coming departure, and he left us some words of advice and warning. These are the final two sets of Scriptures I am commenting on.

2 Peter 1:12-15 (KJV)

12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; 14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. 15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

2 Peter 3:1-2 (KJV)

1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour . . .

In both of the Scriptures above, Peter WRITES to disciples in order to keep them in remembrance "of the words spoken by the holy prophets, and the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour"! Do you see this? The words of a departing man are being written down so that we can read the warnings of things coming in these end times! Beloved, we will be without excuse! We will not be able to say, "I didn't know." I would recommend that you read both I and II Peter to hear what the Lord is warning about in advance!

You will be surprised to find that the prophets Peter references in 2 Peter 2 are not some of the so-called prophets of our day or even of his day, but the Old Testament prophets who still have a lot to say to us about these Last Days! Do not turn a deaf ear to what they are warning us about! Do not heap unto yourselves teachers, having itching ears, teachers who are going to "prophesy" to you things that are going to leave you with nothing but false security! Get back to the Bible, the whole Bible, both the Old and New Testaments and see what the Lord is saying, and not man!

In conclusion, I hope that you will take the time to pray over and consider what I have written. I am writing what I believe the Spirit of the Lord is speaking to the Church in this season. Time is short. The strong delusion is at hand. This is not a time to back away from the Truth. This is the time to run to the Truth, Jesus Christ, the soon-coming Judge and King, who shall judge the quick and the dead!

Your brother in Christ,

Larry Grecu

PERSECUTION COMING TO CHRISTIANS IN THE UNITED STATES - WARNING LETTER GIVEN TO PASTORS IN JULY 1998

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In July 1998, the Lord gave me a prophetic warning and told me to give it out to pastors in the Baker-Crestview, Florida, area. I have felt the Lord speaking to reissue the warning again for all Christians and pastors who are willing to heed it. I believe that we Christians in the United States will soon experience persecution, the likes of which most of us would never have dreamed possible in our country. BUT, it is coming, and it is better to be prepared for it now than to find yourself unprepared spiritually and mentally when it really hits. May God have mercy on the "pillow prophets" who are telling you that everything is going to be all right, that nothing bad is going to happen to His bride or His Church! They are liars of the worst sort and are denying the word of God and especially the words of Jesus Christ Himself, who was faithful to warn his disciples. In case you have not heard the news, Jesus did not suffer so you would not have to. All that live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution!

A PROPHETIC WARNING TO PASTORS

Given to Larry Grecu

July 1998

Dear Pastors,

In this month of July 1998, the Lord spoke to me to warn His appointed undershepherds of a coming judgment upon those pastors who fail to warn and prepare His flock for the persecution that is soon coming to the Christians in the United States of America. Those pastors faithful to this warning will be spared the Lord's judgment upon them and will see the flocks of God "leaping on the mountains and skipping o'er the hills" of the coming troubles. Instead of persecution surprising the sheep, it will only serve to transform the sheep into the likeness of the Lamb of God.

It is my strongest desire that the Lord would confirm this word of warning to you. Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established. It may be that the Lord has already been speaking to you and this word will only serve as a confirmation to us all. I ask God's continued blessing on your ministries, and I pray that He will give you the grace to fulfill your calling and receive a full reward.

Sincerely, your brother in Christ,

Larry Grecu

Ezekiel 33:1-6
Again the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his own soul. But if the watchman seeth the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

In his pamphlet, "Will You Be Bored in Heaven?", the late Keith Green wrote of a sad incident. He told how the believers in China reacted to persecution when the Communists took over their country in 1949. "The Evangelical churches had been teaching that the Church would definitely be raptured before any "great tribulation" or suffering would befall the faithful. It had become such a central doctrine that all worry (and preparation) were abandoned, and praise for their absolute safety from harm and persecution was offered at every meeting. Then the Communist government took over and a vicious attack was made upon the Church, including confiscation of property, beatings, imprisonment, and even the taking of children from parents. The unprepared Church was caught so off-guard that millions fell away and denied Christ, thinking they had been abandoned by a God who did not keep his promise."

If you think that this is only an isolated incident, something that could not happen in your lifetime, think again. In the October 1994 issue of Charisma magazine, there was an article entitled, "Christians Die in Rwandan Violence." This article told of the sufferings that these Christians went through, including such things as murder, butchery, confiscation of property, forced evacuations and the fleeing from what was once their homeland. As horrific as these things were, the saddest commentary was made at the conclusion of the article where the writer wrote of the reaction of the Christians to their persecution. I will include the last three paragraphs of the article so you can get the impact of what I am trying to drive home:

"In an effort to help fill the spiritual vacuum left by the killings of so many pastors, a mass campaign has been launched to distribute thousands of Bibles to Rwandan refugees in Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi. The first shipment of 1,200 Kinyarwanda Bibles was distributed in northern Tanzania, and pastors from different denominations have been working in the refugee camps.

"Most of the people are questioning everything, including their faith," said Albert Mongi, general secretary of the Bible Society in Tanzania. "They are asking where was God and where His protecting angels were when the killers came into the churches. These are problems we need to address before just handing out scriptures."

"Mongi said most refugees "are not ready to think about their faith. They are numb, and they behave as if in a daze." (article by Willy Fautre, news Network Int'l.)

Dear Pastors, could either of these two accounts be recorded about your congregation? Worse yet, could either of these two incidents result because you, as a pastor, failed to declare the whole counsel of God, much of which concerns such "hot" topics as persecution, affliction, tribulation, and trials? What example did the Good Shepherd leave to those who have the care of His flock? Surely He didn't scare any of the little lambs or sheep of His flock with thoughts of persecution, death, or martyrdom, did He? Hear what Jesus told His disciples.

He said His disciples would be hated and persecuted, put out of their synagogues, and even killed (John 15:18,20; 16:2,3). John the Beloved, the closest friend of Jesus, had to suffer persecution and exile, of all things. What kind of Savior would let that happen to His best friend? Luke, another Gospel writer, quotes Jesus as saying that the disciples of the Lord would be "betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake" (Luke 21:16,17). Matthew also records Jesus as warning His disciples with these words, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of ALL nations for My name's sake" (Matthew 24:9). Surely Jesus could not have foreseen persecution coming upon His Church from our own beloved United States, our own countrymen? Surely Jesus could not mean that? I'll let you argue that point with Him. I am only the messenger.

Maybe Paul the apostle had some better things to say to the Church. Let's take a look. We all get excited when we hear about "divine appointments." They are truly amazing. But, what about a divine appointment like the one mentioned in Paul's First Epistle to the Thessalonians? Let's take a peek into someone else's mail. We might as well. Why? Because often we treat the Bible as though the whole book was not written for our instruction. Of course, maybe you are one of those fanatical pastors who believes that this letter was written for Christians today. Anyway, in Chapter Three we are told that Paul sent Timothy to the Thessalonian church "to establish and comfort you concerning your faith: that no man should be moved by these afflictions . . ." Now, surely I didn't read that last word! That didn't say A-F-F-L-I-C-T-I-O-N-S, did it? Yes, it did. Of course, maybe one of the reasons you are not familiar with that word is because you are not preaching it, or you haven't done anything to be counted worthy to suffer for the Gospel. I will let you be the judge of that.

Paul continues in his letter informing the Thessalonians, "For yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto." There it is in black and white. A divine appointment with afflictions. Well, maybe Paul meant physical illnesses. If he did, then we need to find some new definitions for the word "tribulation." You see, in the very next verse, Paul continues, "For verily, when we were with you, WE TOLD YOU BEFORE that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know." How many of the members of your congregation have you recently told that they will suffer afflictions and tribulation in this present life?

Paul was faithful to his calling to this church. He had given advance warning of persecution to the Thessalonians. He knew that it was one of their divine appointments. They were not at all surprised when what he had told them came to pass. Would this be the case with your congregation? Could you write to your church and say, "For ye, Brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judea are in Christ Jesus: for ye have suffered things OF YOUR OWN COUNTRYMEN, even as they have of the Jews . . ."

Now, why would Paul be so concerned about mentioning afflictions and tribulations? These topics certainly would not set well with most of our American congregations. And, I really doubt if Paul would be invited back as a frequent guest speaker. In fact, most pastors, if they were brave enough to contradict some of today's current theology regarding suffering and affliction, might find themselves entering early retirement. But again, why does Paul major on this "minor"? The answer? He is not ignorant of the devil's devices!

When Paul couldn't stand it any longer, he sent Timothy to check up on the Thessalonians. "I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labor be in vain." Now, this was no dumb apostle. He had learned from the Master well. Paul knew that one of the devil's devices to destroy the faith of Christians is for them to be left in the dark when it comes to God's ordained divine appointment with tribulation.

In the parable of the seeds, Jesus forewarned that some seed is sown on stony ground. The stony ground hearers are they who "have heard the word" and IMMEDIATELY receive it with gladness." However, these same hearers "have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when AFFLICTION AND PERSECUTION arise for the word's sake, IMMEDIATELY they are OFFENDED" (Mark 4:16-17). One of the best ways to avoid the loss of seed is to make sure that you remove the stones from the ground. Some of the stones that are currently in the evangelical field are the stone of "peace and safety"; the stone of "It could never happen in our country"; the stone of "He suffered so I won't have to"; and the stone of "We'll be out of here before anything bad happens." These stones need to be removed from your congregational field, and soon. Otherwise, you will find yourself in an OFFENDED congregation instead of a faith-filled one.

Listen to what Jesus warned was going to happen when persecution became a reality in the Last Days: "And then shall many be OFFENDED, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Fortunately, Paul the apostle heeded this warning and prepared the Thessalonians for persecution. When Timothy reported back to Paul, he was able to bring some good news to Paul, who was in the midst of his own persecutions. "But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your FAITH AND CHARITY, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you: Therefore, Brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith: For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord" (I Thessalonians 3:6-8).

Now, I would like to leave you with these thoughts. How many of you would find your congregations in the same condition that Timothy found the one to whom Paul had faithfully proclaimed the full counsel of God? How many of your congregations would be glad to see you come back after they had gone through persecution and affliction? How many would still be living in faith and charity without one loss to unbelief and betrayal? Or, would your congregation be like those of the Chinese Church of 1949 or the Rwandan Church of 1994? What message are you going to preach? The answer is left up to you. Consider today, Pastors, yes, right now, that you will answer to God for the care you gave to His flock.

When the early Church faced threats, imprisonment, and slaughter (even at the hands of the future apostle Paul), she did not quake or "think it strange concerning the fiery trial" which was to try her, "as though some STRANGE thing" had happened to her. No, she rejoiced, "inasmuch as (her members) were made partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, (she) may be glad also with exceeding joy." For the early Church knew that "if ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part (your persecutors) He is evil spoken of, but on your part, He is glorified" (I Peter 4:12-14).

My prayer for you as a pastor is that you will "meditate upon these things and give yourself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee" (I Timothy 4:15-16).

Sincerely, your brother in Christ,

Larry Grecu
